FAQ
Can I only look up companies?
Any VAT-registered business can be found, companies and individuals alike. Without VAT registration there is no name or address to show.
Why is the 13th digit checked first?
It is a check digit; if it does not match, the number was mistyped and there is no need to look it up. It is (11 − (sum of the first 12 digits × 13, 12, …, 2) mod 11) mod 10.
Can I look up a branch?
This page shows the head office. For a branch address, use the seller's documents or the Revenue Department's own service.
