FAQ
Why is 101 read as หนึ่งร้อยเอ็ด?
A 1 in the units place after other digits is read เอ็ด, e.g. 11 สิบเอ็ด and 101 หนึ่งร้อยเอ็ด, matching Excel's BAHTTEXT.
What about more than two decimals?
The amount is rounded to the satang, half up (0.005 rounds up).
Can I do this in Excel?
Yes, =BAHTTEXT(A1) gives the same result. This page is handy when Excel is not open.
